The Berlin Fashion Week is an important meeting place for designers, retailers and fashion designers from all over the world and on three days close to the latest developments and trends.

Berlin is undoubtedly creative, creative and creative. Not only the landmarks and trends are determined, the capital also turns twice a year into a world-class fashion and lifestyle scene: The Berlin Fashion Week attracts 200,000 trade visitors from all over Europe, Eastern Europe and Asia to the capital on the Spree.

Among the highlights of the week are the trade shows in the PANORAMA halls at ExpoCenter City Berlin, PREMIUM STATION Berlin, Show & Order X PREMIUM at Kühlhaus, Seek at Arena Berlin, Selvedge Run at South Entrance of ExpoCenter City Berlin, Neonyt in Kraftwerk, MBFW offers in ewerk. In addition, many groups of 40 well-established and young designers will be presented at DER BERLINER SALON, located at Villa Elisabeth und St. Elisabeth Church.

Summary of the Berlin Salon and MBFW in January 2019

Both the Berliner and the MBFW (formerly the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week) attracted the fashion audience with numerous stands, installations and presentations. Most MBFW offers, as in previous seasons, took place in boxing at Mitte. On the front yard, the programs were broadcast live and in the waiting room there was a show of fashion talent, which was very well received.

Church of St. Elisabeth became the new location for salons in Berlin, near Rosenthaler Platz, provided a wonderful backdrop to the collective exhibition of the Berliner Salon to support the Senate Department of Economics, Energy and Enterprise / Projekt Zukunft. In the immediate vicinity, at Villa Elizabeth, the designers presented salons as part of the Vogue - Exhibition sponsored by Vogue Editor Christian Arb.

Initiatives & Support

 The Senate Department of Economics, Energy and Public Institutions has supported the fashion industry since 2007 with a budget of up to one million euros a year, as well as a set of comprehensive steps. Every year, Berlin funds at least eight fashion labels. Since 2013, Berlin brands have been exhibiting at the Berlin Exhibition - a model prepared by the Department of Economy, Energy and Public Institutions of the Senate to help designers and exhibitors distribute their collections in foreign countries such as France and the United States of America.
